DMSS has been working for the aboriginal and underprivileged Bengali people to develop their livelihoods, ensuring their social security through promoting rights based opportunities with programmes/projects.
Our Beneficiaries
DMSS has been working with unprivileged, extreme poor, ethnic minorities and aboriginal women, men, adolescents and children of different Upazilas in Joypurhat districts covering wider range of the section with different projects supported by different official, institutional and multi-lateral donors.
In targeting project participants DMSS follows the criteria as follows:
Extreme poor households bearing least lands or landless.
Female headed households
Households with disabled members.
Racial minorities (extreme poor minority people especially Adibashi and Dalit people)
Victimized women, girls and children, dowry, early marriage (especially from Dalit and Adibashi households).
Households vulnerable to food security and rights abuses
Socially neglected and deprived women and children
Disabled women and children.
Households having lower or least income and leading with day labourer.
Households not having access to rights based opportunities i.e. legal rights, social justice and public sector rights based services and resources.
